Aged and Community Services Australia

Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) is the national peak body representing not-for-profit and faith-based providers of residential and community care, and housing and support for people with a disability and their carers.

Anglicare Australia

Anglicare Australia

Anglicare Australia is a nationwide network of locally based Anglican organisations serving the needs of their communities.


Association of Independent Retirees

The Association of Independent Retirees (A.I.R) Ltd is a national not for profit, non-political organisation that works to advance and protect the interests and independent lifestyle of Australians in or approaching retirement.


Attendant Care Industry Association

The Attendant Care Industry Association (ACIA) is the peak body for attendant care service providers operating across Australia. ACIA was established to support service providers to achieve positive outcomes for older people and people with disabilities of all ages who require support to remain living at home or in their community.


Audiology Australia

Audiology Australia is the peak body representing audiologists. Audiologists are the primary specialists responsible for the non-medical management of ear disorders.


Australian Association of Gerontology

The Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG) is Australia’s peak national body linking professionals working across the multidisciplinary fields of ageing. Since 1964, AAG has connected professionals with an interest in gerontology to help them collaborate and exchange information on ageing. The AAG’s goal is to expand knowledge of ageing in order to improve the experience of ageing.


Australian Association of Social Workers

The Australian Association of Social Workers is the professional representative body of social workers in Australia, with more than 8,500 members. It was formed as a national association in 1946 and has since supported its members through the profession’s many developments and changes.


Australian College of Nursing

ACN’s mission is to enhance health care by advancing nurse leadership. We do this by developing and nurturing the leadership skills and expertise of nurses. Through our membership and education services, and our leadership development program, ACN encourages and supports nurses at every level to develop their leadership skills and competency in order to make a strong contribution to policy by providing their professional, economic and health perspectives.


Australian Healthcare & Hospital Association

The AHHA is the peak independent membership body for all publicly funded healthcare services in Australia.


Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine

The Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine is the professional society for geriatricians and other medical practitioners with an interest in medical care of older people.


Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation is now the largest union in Australia with over 249,000 members.  The ANMF is run by nurses and midwives to advance the industrial, political and professional status of our members.

We believe that high quality, affordable and accessibly health care is the right of every Australian. We are proud of the work that our members do, in every health setting, every hospital, nursing home, GP clinic, community health practice, in rural and remote Australia and in large hospitals in big cities.


Australasian Services Care Network

The Australasian Services Care Network is a ’community of practice’ of Australasian providers of care and accommodation services, primarily to the Service and Ex-Service Community and their families.


Australian Physiotherapy Association

The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) is the peak body representing the interests of Australian physiotherapists and their patients.


Baptist Care Australia

Baptist Care Australia represents the network of Baptist aged care and welfare providers across Australia.


Carers Australia

Carers Australia is the national peak body representing and advocating for Australia’s 2.6 million carers.


Catholic Health Australia

Catholic Health Australia is the largest single grouping of non-government health, aged and community care services in Australia.


Council of the Ageing

COTA Australia is the peak consumer organisation of older Australians and the leading national organisation advocating for the rights, needs and interests of older people.


Dental Hygienists Association of Australia 

As the professional body representing dental hygienists in Australia, the National Association and Australian State and Territory Branches are working for the continuing development of the profession of dental hygiene.


Dieticians Association of Australia

The Dieticians Association of Australia (DAA) is the leader in nutrition for better food, better health and wellbeing for all.


Diversional Therapy Australia

Diversional Therapy Australia is the national professional body representing diversional therapists and recreation, lifestyle and leisure workers.


Exercise & Sports Science Australia

Founded in 1991, Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA), is a professional organisation which is committed to establishing, and promoting member excellence in exercise and sports science that will enrich the health and performance of every Australian.


Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils Australia

FECCA is the peak, national body representing Australians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. FECCA’s role is to advocate and promote issues on behalf of its constituency to government, business and the broader community.


Health Services Union

The Health Services Union (HSU) is a specialist health and aged care union, proudly representing over 70 000 health and aged care workers across Australia.


Home Modifications Australia

Home Modifications Australia (MOD.A) is the national peak and industry body that represents providers and promotes the benefits of home modifications for older people and people with disability.


Leading Age Services Australia

Leading Age Services Australia is the new national peak organisation for all providers of care, services and accommodation for older Australians.


Lutheran Church

The Lutheran Church has been involved in providing quality aged care services to Australians since the 1930s.


Macular Disease Foundation Australia

Macular Disease Foundation Australia is a national charity providing information, guidance and support on prevention, early detection, treatment and rehabilitation. The Foundation is the voice of the macular disease community, building healthy communities through the development of effective public policy, a sound knowledge base and strong relationships and partnerships.


National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation 

NACCHO is the national peak body for Aboriginal health. It is entrusted to represent the needs and interests of Aboriginal health on behalf of its members in the national arena.


National LGBTI Health Alliance

The National LGBTI Health Alliance is the national peak health organisation in Australia for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people (LGBTI) and other sexuality, gender, and bodily diverse people and communities.


National Presbyterian Aged Care Network

The National Presbyterian Aged Care Network represents the state-based aged care organisations of the Presbyterian Church of Australia, covering all states of Australia and the ACT.


National Rural Health Alliance

The National Rural Health Alliance (NRHA) is the peak non-government organisation for rural and remote health.

Occupational Therapy Australia

Older Persons Advocacy Network

Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) is a network of organisations dedicated to improving the lives of Australia’s older, and most vulnerable, people.


Palliative Care Australia

Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is the peak national organisation representing the interests and aspirations of those who share the ideal of quality care at the end of life for all.


Public Sector Residential Aged Care

The Public Sector Residential Aged Care (PSRAC) Leadership Committee is an initiative that brings together Executive Directors of Nursing to focus specifically on achieving high standards of evidence-based care in residential aged care public sector facilities across Victoria.


Retirement Living Council

The Retirement Living Council seeks to play a critical role in the ongoing growth and sustainability of the retirement living industry. It is the only national organisation solely focused on advocating on the critical issues facing housing and services for older people, supporting and promoting members and the retirement living industry at large.


Returned Services League

The RSL was founded in 1916 with the primary purpose of supporting and ensuring the well-being of serving and ex-service Defence Force members and their families. The RSL also engages with Government and other organisations to ensure a secure and progressive future for Australia.


Speech Pathology Australia

Speech Pathology Australia is the national peak body for the speech pathology profession in Australia. Speech pathologists are university trained allied health professionals with expertise in the assessment and treatment of communication and/or swallowing difficulties.


Pharmacy Guild of Australia

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is the national peak body representing community pharmacy as the most appropriate primary provider of health care to the community through optimum therapeutic use of medicines, medicine management and related services.


Royal Society for the Blind

The RSB (Royal Society for the Blind) is the primary source of assistance giving people with a vision impairment the opportunity to improve the quality and independence of their lives.


Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a Christian church and international charitable organisation structured in a quasi-military fashion, and is an organisation the helps provide hope, opportunity and freedom to all Australians without discrimination.


United Voice

United Voice is a union of workers campaigning for fair wages for aged care workers and quality care for older Australians.

UnitingCare Australia

UnitingCare Australia is the national body for the UnitingCare Network, one of the largest providers of community services in Australia. With over 1,600 sites, the network employs 39,000 staff and is supported by the work of over 28,000 volunteers.
